RISKS IN PORTS AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES

Share:

The documents in this section are intended to provide written information, of general application in all ports, intended for those entities, companies, professional and self-employed workers who are going to use the port area to carry out their business (work) whether for a long period (concessions, service companies) or for shorter periods (authorisations). These entities, companies, professional and self-employed workers must take this information into account for their respective evaluation and planning for prevention, inform their employees and provide them with individual or collective protection when working in the ports.

The General Inventory of Risks classified these in two ways: a) by cause/origin, or b) by zone.

Preventive Measures describes the general or main risks to be taken into consideration in Offices, Quays and Jetties, Sea Walls and Breakwaters, Fishing Zones (Auction houses, net-drying areas, shipowners storage space), Marinas, Slipways, Fuel Depots and Roads (vehicles and pedestrians)
